How much does a bespoke oak table cost?
Prices start from around £1,800 for a 6 seat table, and larger or more complex designs can be £6,000+. The final price depends on size, oak grade, edge style, finish and legs. Use Design Your Table and Tom will send you a quote within 24 hours.
How long does it take to make my table?
Tables are typically ready in 6–8 weeks from confirmation of your order and receipt of your deposit. Lead times can vary slightly with the options you choose and our suppliers.
How do I order, and how does the deposit work?
Choose your options on Design Your Table and press Request My Quote. Tom will reply within 24 hours to talk through your design and confirm the price. A 50% deposit confirms your order and secures your build slot. You can pay by credit or debit card, PayPal, or 0% finance (subject to application approval).
Do you deliver, and where?
Yes. Your table is hand-delivered and assembled in your home. We deliver throughout mainland UK, and the delivery cost is calculated when you order. Deliveries to other parts of the UK and overseas can be arranged at cost. Please make sure there is safe access from the road to your home.
Can I visit the workshop?
Yes, you’re very welcome to visit our workshop in the Weald of Kent to see the oak grades, finishes and legs in person. Get in touch to book a visit.
What oak do you use?
We use kiln-dried, sustainably sourced solid oak in three grades: Character, Prime and Pippy. Oak is a natural material, so knots, grain, colour variation and small amounts of movement are part of its character rather than faults.
Can you make a custom size or shape?
Yes. Every table is made to order, so you can choose any size. We also make extending, oval and round dining tables, plus matching benches. If you need something the configurator doesn’t cover, just contact us.
Is there a guarantee?
Every table is guaranteed against faulty workmanship and defective materials for at least 12 months from delivery. You also get three years of free help and guidance through our Customer Care programme, and we’re always happy to advise after that.
How do I look after my table?
Wipe with a damp cloth, and use Rubio Monocoat cleaning products and maintenance oil to keep the finish looking its best. Place your table away from extremes of heat, such as radiators or strong direct sunlight.
Can I return a bespoke table?
Because each table is made to your own specification, bespoke furniture isn’t covered by our standard returns policy. Your statutory rights are not affected. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
